Our WEEE removal process follows a clear five-step system, fully compliant with UK regulations:
1. Legal Compliance – Everything is carried out to align with GDPR and ISO, supported by our valid Environment Agency licence.
2. Waste Processing – Waste is transported to authorised facilities where recyclable waste is separated from anything considered non-recoverable.
3. Secure Data Destruction – Devices containing sensitive data are either securely erased or destroyed, with Certificates of Destruction provided.
4. T11 Refurbishment – Items fit for repair are handled according to our registered T11 exemption.
5. Environmentally Responsible Disposal – Irrecoverable waste is dismantled and processed following environmental legislation, including the safe treatment of hazardous materials.

Once your WEEE waste has been processed, you’ll receive a Waste Transfer Note outlining how it was dealt with. If any devices contain confidential data, we’ll also issue a Certificate of Destruction to confirm that everything met GDPR compliance.
