Although over 95% of an average fridge is recyclable, it is still deconstructed within a sealed environment so that any harmful substances can be safely removed.

Once this has been achieved, the rest of the fridge materials are separated into individual streams, including plastics, ferrous and non-ferrous metals and foam to be recycled or reused.
